Our Family's Favorite

Start by draining your yams/sweet potatoes  (see an explaination of the difference between the two in our post)

Combine the dry ingredients and mix well to prevent the cornstarch  from clumping.

Add your apricots, butter, and pecans and bring back to a full boil.

Pour the sauce over your drained yams and bake for 25 minutes.

Enjoy as a side dish for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or as an everyday treat. I may be eating some with my lunch today...because it is Monday and why not?
