Okay, chocolate lovers, this one’s for you! We all get those intense chocolate cravings, right? But who wants to wait for hours or mess with complicated recipes?
Not me! That’s why I’m sharing my go-to Ninja Creami chocolate ice cream recipe. It’s ridiculously easy, unbelievably creamy, and requires just a few simple ingredients. You won’t believe it’s homemade!
Supplies Needed:
Stretch It Tip:
- Turn this into a decadent dessert by adding a dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkle of chocolate chips, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
- Use this ice cream as a base for milkshakes or ice cream floats.
Tips and Tricks for Delicious Ice Cream:
- For an even richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate milk or add a tablespoon of melted chocolate chips.
- To make this recipe dairy-free, substitute the milk and cottage cheese with your favorite dairy-free alternatives, such as unsweetened almond milk and dairy-free cream cheese.
- If you have vanilla ice cream, you can make a chocolate ice cream shake in the creami instead of making ice cream. See our recipe for milkshakes here.
- If you want a lower sugar option, reduce the amount of sugar or use a sugar substitute, or add maple syrup according to your taste preferences.
- I don’t recommend using heavy cream in this recipe, as it tends to be a bit waxy if you use too much.
- For a more intense flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- If you and your sweet tooth love Reese’s peanut butter cups, this is the perfect recipe to add a tablespoon or two of peanut butter to your chocolate ice cream base after the first spin and hit add-in.
- If your homemade chocolate ice cream recipe is powdery, press the re-spin button once before adding any more liquid.
- For added protein, use a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
- Remember not to fill past the max fill line.
Storage:
Store leftover ice cream in the Ninja Creami pint container with the lid on in the freezer for up to two weeks. Or eat it the next day, cuz it probably won’t last two weeks!!!
