Ninja Creami Strawberry Lemonade Slushy

This isn’t your average sugary store-bought slushy – it’s packed with real fruit flavor and takes just two ingredients to whip up. Trust me, you’ll want to sip on this all season long.

Supplies Needed:

Ingredients:

  • Fresh or frozen strawberries
  • Lemonade (Your favorite brand – I won’t judge!)

Directions for making Ninja Creami Strawberry Lemonade Slushies:

1. Berry Bliss: Fill your Ninja Creami pint container with strawberries. You want them to come up just below the fill line. Don’t worry if they’re a bit over – we’ll fix that in the next step.

2. Lemonade Love: Pour your lemonade over the strawberries until you reach the fill line. If the berries are peeking above the line, pour out a little bit of lemonade so it’s not overfilled.

3. Freeze It: Pop the lid on your pint and stick it in the freezer for at least 12 hours, or up to 24 hours.

4. Slushy Time: Once frozen, take the pint out of the freezer and let it sit on the counter for a few minutes to soften slightly. Place it in your Ninja Creami and process on “Sorbet” one time. (Yep, even though it’s a slushy, the “Sorbet” function works best for this recipe.)

5. Take half of your frozen mixture out, and fill to the fill line with more lemonade. Respin.

6. Sip & Repeat: Your strawberry lemonade slushy is ready! Pour it into glasses, grab a straw, and enjoy the icy goodness.

Tips and Troubleshooting:

  • Mushing Time: If you’re using fresh strawberries, give them a good mash with a fork or potato masher before adding the lemonade. This will help them break down easier in the Creami.
  • Lemon Zest: Want an extra burst of citrusy goodness? Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice or a bit of lemon zest to your mixture.
  • Too Thick? If your slushy is a bit too icy after processing, just let it sit out for a few minutes to soften, or give it a quick stir. You can also add a splash more lemonade to thin it out.
