Ninja Strawberry Fruit Filling Sorbet
Okay, be honest, you want ice cream sometimes without all the drama, don’t you? Get ready for this! Today, I’m sharing a super simple and surprisingly delicious ice cream recipe that uses only ONE ingredient.
Yes, you heard me – one! If you’re hunting for a dessert that’s quick, easy, and requires almost zero effort, you’ve absolutely come to the right place.
Meet the Star: Canned Fruit Filling
Forget about those complicated recipes with eggs, cream, and sugar. We’re keeping things ridiculously simple with a can of your favorite fruit filling. Think about it – all that incredible, sweet, fruity flavor is already packed inside, just waiting to become a refreshing frozen treat.

What You’ll Need:
- 1 21-ounce can LuckyLeaf Strawberry Filling or your favorite fruit filling (pie filling works great!)
- A blender (I love my Ninja)
- Ninja Swirl by Creami
The (Ridiculously Easy) Process for Ninja Strawberry Sorbet:
1. Carefully open your can of fruit filling.
2. Pour the entire contents of the can into your blender. Blend until smooth. If necessary, you might need to scrape down the sides a few times to make sure everything is incorporated.

3. Pour the blended fruit filling into your Ninja Swirl pint jar. Secure the lid and place it in the freezer. Freeze for 24 hours

4. Once frozen solid, take your frozen pint from the freezer and give the outside of the container a quick rinse under running water. This helps release the frozen mixture.
5. Remove the storage lid and place the pint inside the outer bowl of your Ninja Swirl. Secure the swirl pint within the outer bowl.

6. Attach the processing lid, ensuring the alignment lines are matched up. Slide the outer bowl onto the base of your Ninja Swirl. Turn the handle counterclockwise to elevate the platform, and then press the power button. Select the ‘Soft Serve’ function, followed by the ‘Sorbet’ setting.
7. Once the churning process is complete, carefully remove the pint from the machine. Replace the processing lid with the dispense lid, making sure the swirl press is properly installed. Secure the pint by aligning the blue tabs and twisting clockwise.

8. Rotate the white pint base to the ‘OPEN’ position. Gently pull the handle to dispense your soft serve ice cream, and release the handle to stop the flow.
I was honestly surprised at how well this worked! The fruit filling transforms into a smooth and creamy ice cream with an intense fruit flavor. It’s refreshing, naturally sweet and incredibly easy to customize.

Tips and Variations for our Sorbet with Strawberries:
- Experiment with Flavors: The possibilities are endless! Try different fruit fillings like cherry, apple, blueberry, peach, or even a mixed berry blend.
- After you have dispensed your ice cream, top it with extras like chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or a drizzle of caramel.
Ultimately, this recipe rocks for its sheer simplicity – it doesn’t get much easier than using just one ingredient!
